BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA approved to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet, and vertical bands connecting the neck and jaw. During your assessment, Katie will evaluate your facial movement and determine which areas can be treated safely and effectively.

You may begin noticing improvement within one to two days. Full results generally develop within 30 days for forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet, and within approximately 14 days for vertical neck bands. Individual results may vary.

Results may last up to four months, although duration varies based on the treatment area, dosage, muscle activity, metabolism, and individual response. BOTOX® Cosmetic is temporary, and treatments should generally be spaced at least 90 days apart.

The appropriate number of units depends on your anatomy, muscle strength, treatment areas, movement patterns, and desired result. FDA-approved dosing includes 20 units for frown lines, 20 units for forehead lines, and 24 units for crow’s feet when treating both sides. Katie creates an individualized plan rather than applying the same dosage or injection pattern to every patient.

BOTOX® Cosmetic requires minimal downtime, and most patients can return to their normal daily routine immediately following treatment. Your appointment will typically take approximately 15–30 minutes, and Katie will provide clear instructions regarding exercise, pressure on the treated areas, and other post-treatment considerations.

These products are all prescription neuromodulators, but they are not interchangeable and their dosing units cannot be directly compared.
